We carefully pack every order to keep your kimchi fresh and safe during delivery.

🚚 Delivery Fee Update

We have always tried to keep our delivery fees as low as possible. However, our actual delivery costs have consistently been higher than the fees we charged, and we have been absorbing a significant portion of the difference.

Since August 2026, fuel, freight, labour, packaging and other operating costs across Australia have increased significantly.

Unfortunately, we can no longer maintain our previous delivery rates without continuing to incur losses.

From 4 September 2026, our delivery fees have been updated to better reflect our actual delivery costs.

Please note: We currently do not offer delivery to Western Australia (WA) or Northern Territory (NT) due to the significantly higher freight costs to these regions.

  • Melbourne: Usually 1–2 business days
  • Next-day service: Usually 1–2 business days via StarTrack
  • Regional and interstate delivery times may vary depending on the destination.

Please note that delivery times are estimates and may be affected by courier delays, weather or other circumstances outside our control.

We prepare and dispatch orders according to their delivery destination and required transit time.

🚚 Dispatch Schedule (Local Delivery in Melbourne)

We deliver select local orders directly using our dedicated refrigerated vans to ensure maximum freshness.

  • Delivery Schedule: Direct deliveries operate on a set weekly schedule based on postcodes (e.g., CBD: Every Monday & Friday). Because of our fixed routes, we are unable to provide next-day delivery.

  • Estimated Delivery: Depending on your location and order date, direct van delivery may take up to 3 business days from the time your order is processed.

  • Unserviced Areas: If your address falls outside our direct van delivery zones, your order will be shipped via our trusted courier partners.

🥬 Is It Safe to Ship Kimchi?

Yes! Your kimchi is safe to travel. 💚

Kimchi is a naturally fermented food, so it does not require refrigerated freight during normal courier transit.

Every order is carefully packed with:

  • Double-wrapped packaging
  • A secure outer bag
  • Insulated chiller packaging
  • FDA-approved dry ice packs

What about swelling or bubbles?

Don't worry if you notice:

  • A slightly swollen bag
  • Bubbles in the jar
  • Natural liquid around the lid

These are normal signs of active fermentation.

Live lactic acid bacteria continue to ferment the vegetables and naturally produce CO₂ gas. This is part of the fermentation process and does not necessarily mean the kimchi has spoiled.

Freshness Guarantee

If your order arrives damaged or in poor condition, please contact us as soon as possible.

We will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

📦 How We Pack Your Kimchi

Every order is carefully prepared to protect your kimchi during transit.

Double-wrapped → Insulated packaging → Dry ice pack → Secure outer packaging → Courier

No refrigerated freight is required for normal delivery because kimchi is a naturally fermented food.

⏱️ Processing Times

Orders are generally processed within 1–3 business days.

Please allow additional processing time during busy periods.

Made-to-order products

Our 4kg and 10kg bulk kimchi is made to order and may require additional processing time.

We will contact you by email or phone if there is a significant delay with your order.

🏠 Unattended Delivery & Authority to Leave (ATL)


• Authority to Leave: All orders are shipped with Authority to Leave. If no one is available to receive the package, our courier or delivery driver will leave it in a safe place at your doorstep or nominated address.
• Risk & Liability: Once delivery is completed (confirmed via tracking or delivery photo), full responsibility transfers to the recipient.
• Theft & Loss: We cannot accept liability for packages that are stolen, missing, or damaged after delivery has been completed.

Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number.

Tracking information usually becomes active within 24 hours.
